Nash Racela, the coach of Adamson, apologized for his post-game remarks after their match against Ateneo. He mentioned the UAAP in implying that Ateneo is favored to make it to the Final Four. Although he remained defiant about a game-changing missed call on Joseph Obasa’s block on Cedrick Manzano, the UAAP decided not to suspend him. Instead, Racela was given a stern reprimand. He was allowed to coach the Adamson’s crucial game against National University after making a formal apology for his statements. The Falcons, who have a 5-7 record at fifth place, fight for their Final Four hopes in their last two games against the NU Bulldogs and the UE Red Warriors.
