Manila Leg of VNL Showcases Japan and USA as Headlining Teams
The Volleyball Nations League is coming back to Manila, Philippines. The VNL will feature another leg of men’s volleyball action next year, hosting eight teams for five days beginning on June 18. The venue for the matches is yet to be determined. The countries listed to compete include Japan, Brazil, Netherlands, Canada, USA, France, Iran, and Germany. Defending champion Poland will not be in Manila for the competition but will instead be in Slovenia for the Ljubljana leg. Ticket prices will be announced later, and the Philippine National Volleyball Federation president Tats Suzara had already expressed excitement about the international competition’s return to the country. He confirmed that discussions were held on the possibility of bringing back the men’s VNL due to the interest and enthusiasm of fans at the 2023 VNL Manila leg held earlier this year.
