Man City Breaks Winless Streak, Chelsea Falls to Everton
Manchester City ended a four-match winless run in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory at Luton, while Everton defeated Chelsea 2-0. Tottenham won against Newcastle , with Richarlison scoring twice. After the break, City scored two goals in three minutes to secure the win. Bernardo Silva equalized and Jack Grealish bagged the winner which helped City close the gap on Liverpool to four points. Haaland’s fitness scare could not have come at a worse time. Everton continued to shrug off the impact of a 10-point deduction as victory over Chelsea took the Toffees four points clear of the relegation zone. Tottenham had lost four of their next five games but returned to form with a 4-1 win against Newcastle. Fulham ran riot for the second time in a week as they thrashed West Ham 5-0 at Craven Cottage. Harry Wilson and Carlos Vinicius completed the London derby demolition.
