A museum dedicated to NBA star LeBron James is set to open in Akron, Ohio, this month, showcasing his life and career from childhood to the NBA, Olympics, business, and philanthropy, according to his foundation.
The museum will feature never-before-seen items from James’ life, starting with a recreation of his childhood apartment and covering his journey from the 2003 NBA Draft to his championship wins with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers, as well as his Olympic victories.
James expressed his excitement about the museum, stating that it fulfills his dream of putting Akron on the map and sharing his journey with fans worldwide.
The museum will be part of House Three Thirty, a facility established by James’ foundation to support the community. All proceeds from ticket sales will be reinvested in the local area.
As a 21st NBA season player and the league’s all-time scoring leader, 38-year-old James continues to make an impact on and off the court.
