Heat Maintain Balance to Defeat Hornets in NBA Showdown
Duncan Robinson was on fire in the 116-114 Miami Heat win as he scored 24 points and secured 5three-pointers in a game against Charlotte Hornets. A season-high 19 points from Kevin Love made a big difference off the bench. Jimmy Buttler contributed 23 points and eight assists. Miami made a strong fourth-quarter run. Terry Rozier had a great game, scoring 34 points in the losing effort yet missed the half-court heave at the buzzer. Duncan Robinson was 8-14 in the game and made shot-clock beating 3s. Caleb Martin ended with 20 points and nine rebounds for Miami. Martin played a season-high 39 minutes and executed a strong game in Charlotte. Erik Spoelstra credited Love’s seasoned experience and leadership playing along with Jimmy Buttler. The Heat was also supported by key plays from Kyle Lowry, Butler, Martin, and Robinson in the fourth quarter. The teams will meet again in Miami.
