Farm Fresh Reignites with Second Victory in PVL

Trisha Tubu and Kate Santiago helped the Farm Fresh Foxies secure their second win in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season. Tubu and Santiago combined for 29 points to lead Farm Fresh past the winless Galeries Tower, 25-10, 25-18, 24-26, 25-16, in the second PVL All-Filipino Conference at Philsports Arena. Tubu, who scored 15 points, expressed her satisfaction with the team’s growth given their improved 2-8 record after a winless tournament debut last Invitational Conference. Santiago, contributing 14 points and eight excellent receptions, emphasized the significance of the second conference as a gauge for their young team heading into the 2024 season. Setter Louie Romero also shined for Farm Fresh with 20 excellent sets and Alyssa Bertolano and Rizza Cruz added 10 points each with Bertolano also contributing 15 digs and five excellent receptions. The Farm Fresh Foxies seek to finish their season strong against the Nxled Chameleons on Saturday in Iloilo. Galeries Towers managed to avoid a sweep in the third set behind Andrea Marzan’s performance but Farm Fresh regained its momentum in the fourth set to close out the game. Graze Bombita and Dimdim Pacres led the Highrisers with 10 points each, while Marzan added 10, as they remained winless in nine games with two matches left in their maiden conference.
