Confidence Boost: Bea De Leon Shines in Choco Mucho Win

Bea De Leon led Choco Mucho’s dominant 25-16, 25-17, 25-11 win over Gerflor with 13 points in Tuesday’s game at Philsports Arena. The Flying Titans won nine in 10 matches to stay in contention for the top two seeds. De Leon unleashed six attacks, five blocks, and two aces in the game, relishing the opportunity to play extended minutes under coach Dante Alinsunurin in preparation for their return to the semifinals. Setter Deanna Wong made 17 excellent sets as Isa Molde and Aduke Ogunsanya added six points each for Choco Mucho. Meanwhile, libero Denden Lazaro-Revilla had nine digs and five receptions in the match. Choco Mucho is mastering Alinsunurin’s system after his takeover late last year, bringing the team back to the semis after a four-tournament drought. No Defender scored in double figures with Shang Berte leading the way with eight points as they remained winless in nine games.
