Donovan Mitchell had an outstanding performance against Golden State and Draymond Green, scoring 21 points, with seven rebounds, five assists, and two steals as the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Warriors 118-110 on Saturday.
Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 30 points, but they lost Green at the 6:23 mark of the third quarter. Green was ejected with eight points, five rebounds, and four assists after pushing Mitchell and instigating a heated interaction.
LeVert scored 22 points, and Darius Garland contributed 19 points, six rebounds, and four assists with five steals. Evan Mobley added 19 points and two steals, leading to Cleveland’s first win on the Warriors’ home floor since March 14, 2014, and their first series sweep since 2008-09.
Curry, who scored 17 of his points in the first half, also became the 35th player in NBA history to reach 22,000 career points.
After Green’s ejection, the Cavs capitalized and forced a Warriors timeout, ultimately maintaining their lead and securing the victory.
Green picked up his first technical of the night with 7:46 before halftime, making it a team-high three on the season for him.
