MANILA, Philippines – Homegrown motorcycle taxi company Angkas, recently wrapped up its basketball tournament, which showcased remarkable skills and camaraderie among its biker-partners.
In its fourth successful season, with 124 participating teams since the league commenced in July, the event showcased the extraordinary talent and sportsmanship of Angkas riders.
Angkas CEO George Royeca, underscored the importance of nurturing a spirit of healthy competition while expressing gratitude to all participants.
“The sportsmanship of our riders has truly shone in this season’s Angkas Basketball Championships. The Taguig Spartans emerged as champions and bagged the P130,000 cash prize. Additionally, Quadrant Cup winners were rewarded with P20,000 each for their triumph.
